San Bernardino Peak is currently closed due to the 2020 El Dorado Fire, which burned through the entirety of the trail. A forest order closing the area is set to expire March 31, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. If safety concerns such as hazard trees remain, the forest order may be extended.
