Don't expect your security deposit back or key fob deposit refund for storing your rig because they don't get it back to you - just a bunch of excuses in email. I believe the law states that you have 21 days to refund a deposit. I gave 30 day notice on 5/28 and turned in the gate fob on the 12th of June. I know for certain they rented site 25 that day! So where is security deposits?
It was three days ago.
In the last 15 years I've been going there on average 5 or 6 times a year and last 2 years I've been busy so I went there first time 3 days ago after 2 and a half years. There was a young gentleman in a white new Toyota Camry that was very impolite asking me what I was doing there. I probably should have asked who he was I mentioned to him l was enjoying the view of the lake and ducks and been coming there probably since before he was born. It was an unpleasant experience this time that did not have to be that way.
I had a wonderful 3 week stay at Champagne Lakes! The campsites are unique with beautiful landscaping. The staff is over the top nice and will always help you out!
This place stole money from us. They added on a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which is illegal in California. When I tried to pay cash, they said they didn’t accept cash. We also did not get the “full connections that we paid for. No sewer.
Staff was super friendly and responsive, and the site was clean and felt very safe. But you’re packed in tight. There was a restroom that they didn’t give us the code for, so we couldn’t use it. We paid for full connections, but could not connect our sewer hose because the their drain hole was too small. I’ve stayed at hundreds of places over the past four years, and never had that problem. My elbow sewer hose connector has three different sizes, and fits every RV site everywhere except this place. There was freeway noise and dogs barking at 4 AM. This was the most expensive place we’ve ever stayed at, and it wasn’t good. I’ve been to plenty of places that cost 1/3 the price of this place and were MUCH better.
