One of my all time favorite hidden gems. Its a quite place that's great for people looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The roads are pretty rough this time of the year but take your time and watch how you drive, you'll be fine

nice quiet place and leave on your RZR sand quad's right from the campsite has Vault toilets which get cleaned every day so you have a 50-50 chance of having a non smelly bathroom fire pits lots of trees and shade for most of the campsites some pretty good riding trails there's a good kids Loop 4 day or night runs couple small streams of water that we have run into but we're unable to make it from our location down the black Trail over to Fisherman's swimming hole or over to Deep Creek from this location but you can make it all the way to farm skin and Big Bear from here it says on the guy that they have running water what could they do but if you're planning on filling something up with the water here it drips out pretty slowly bring a 5 gallon bucket hang it on there and let it fill up over an hour or so

No policing of quiet hours. This is not a place for nature lovers; it's a place where local trash party loudly and race their vehicles. Most disappointing campground of my 3 week trip.

Update: my review is of October 2022.

Super fun offroad drive getting there, the girls loved it. Open yet plenty of shade, small hikes nearby, boulders to explore, will visit again. Make sure you bring plenty of water and wood as the water is very limited and also no one on site to sell wood. Very spacious between campsites.
