This is a decent hike in, if ypu have any issues walking around, this is not for you, but if you're ok, this is worth the huffin and puffin, lol.
Once you get out to the beach past the camp site, it's so quiet and beautiful.
Really nice park at the end of the island. Far out and remote it was a nice get away and wasn’t crowded at all in the off season. 2-3 mile moderate hike goes to a campground, and some incredible views and, beach. Highly recommend if your on the island.
A beautiful park with access to shoreline beaches (a rarity on Orcas with most shoreline privately owned). This park has a circle route trail that meanders from the car park, through delightful forest to a stone pebble beach and back again. There are hike-in primitive camping sights on the cliffs above the beach. Pack out your trash. Be kind and respect the locals.
Loved it...went there on a Wednesday afternoon. Practically had the place to myself. Short easy loop hike that will get you to the water. Very nice if you want to get away from crowded places and just spend some time in silence and nature.
One of the most scenic short hikes you’ll ever experience. I first hiked it 28 years ago and recently visited again. Was it as gorgeous as I remember? Yes, and more! Forest, check. Views, check. Great little beach? Check. Bring a lunch and enjoy the afternoon. And plan ahead to camp in one of the backcountry sites.
