We LOVED our stay at Lakedale and plan to be back every year. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the cabins are super clean. It's a perfect location to recharge and bring the family.

5 star camping! Let me first start by laughing out loud at many of the 1 star reviews left here. Complaining about broken helmets (with free camp provided bikes), the inconvenience of holding the water sensor in the FREE hot shower, walking too far to the bathroom or trash can, and listening to children play!?!? Seriously?!?! If you want an all inclusive, kid free, full service staycation go to town. This is a campground people and definitely one of the nicest you’ll find. My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years and it’s awesome. With the exception of a few loud guests from time to time (which happens everywhere) this place has it all and a lot that most camps don’t like the use of free bikes, camp activities, boat rentals, onsite store, clean bathrooms with FREE hot showers, and access to 3 beautiful lakes. If your not a camper please stay at a hotel and let the rest of us enjoy this lovely place.

Nice relaxing family camping trip. Great amenities for outdoor camping including hot showers, sinks to wash dishes, and plumbing. They have portapotties dispersed throughout as well. No service for Verizon on the family campsites we were in which was AMAZING!

Everyone knows weddings can be a huge investment, and one of the BEST decisions we made was choosing Lakedale as our venue! From the views, accommodations, the amenities, and the staff, everything was spectacular. The event coordinator, Carla, truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the resources and details we needed. Our family and friends still talk about how fun and ‘magical’ the weekend felt. We cannot thank Carla and Lakedale enough for ensuring we had the wedding of our dreams!

We are longtime Lakedale off season lodge visitors, but our experience this weekend was so off-putting that I wanted to make sure that others knew what they’re getting into before going.

The water is brown, or dark yellow at best.

The hotel does not proactively acknowledge the problem. There is no alternative water to drink available.

We were told that this is a “normal off-season thing” but we have been coming for 10 years and I can assure you, it is not.

Felt unsafe, felt unclean. Felt like they did not have a serious problem under control. We were very lucky to be able to book at another hotel in town and did not spend the night.

Lakedale holds so many great memories for us, but we will not be coming back until it is clear the same thoughtful care is paid as it once was.
