Showers: Great

Trees: Excellent

Trails: Good.

4G Cellular Data: Slow.

Daily hours of leaf blower: Loud, and excessive.

I was only at the park two days, prepaid.

Don't expect a quiet time.

If you love the sound of a leaf blower running, even 15 feet away, you're gonna LOVE it! Hah

It’s it’s a nice park. Nothing unusual though probably great if you have a boat to lunch, but no long stretch of beach to walk on. And the camp sites are more closer to each other than desired.

Well organized and clean state park. They have quite a few full hook-up camping spots but they are not secluded. You will likely have neighbors on each side of you. The tent camping spots seem to have more personal space. There are some well groomed hiking and biking trails with some amazing views.

The bathrooms are clean and well stocked although they are a bit dated. The shower was hot with great water pressure and is actually FREE which is rare for our state parks. Sequim is usually one of the less rainy places on the peninsula. I happened to camp on a rainy day but the hiking was still enjoyable.

This place was so awesome. The host here is super sweet and very informative. They have hiking trails everywhere here. They even have a discovery trail that leads into town. We walked this trail. If you take this trail all the way into town to the Dairy Queen and back, just know that round trip this will be 17.52 miles. Their is so much to do here. The beaches are rocky but no problem, lift the rocks and you will see tons of baby crabs. Do not go clamming here, their are signs everywhere stating they're toxic. The campsites are pretty close to one another if you're doing tent camping so just be aware of that when making reservations. If you plan on going to big time hiking trails they're about an hour away from the campground. Shopping us not very far away from the campground if you need to go to the store for something. They have firewood there that they sell for $5. They highly suggest you wait to check in at 2:30pm, since check out time is at 1pm. We were able to check in early when we got there but we got lucky. Showers are free, which is always a plus. The main discover trail is also a bike trail and is very popular.

We had a campsite for the night, very nice. Hot shower. Nice walks for my pup. Saw some silly otters playing in the bay. We would go back.
