Campsite: Sequim Bay State Park

This place was so awesome. The host here is super sweet and very informative. They have hiking trails everywhere here. They even have a discovery trail that leads into town. We walked this trail. If you take this trail all the way into town to the Dairy Queen and back, just know that round trip this will be 17.52 miles. Their is so much to do here. The beaches are rocky but no problem, lift the rocks and you will see tons of baby crabs. Do not go clamming here, their are signs everywhere stating they're toxic. The campsites are pretty close to one another if you're doing tent camping so just be aware of that when making reservations. If you plan on going to big time hiking trails they're about an hour away from the campground. Shopping us not very far away from the campground if you need to go to the store for something. They have firewood there that they sell for $5. They highly suggest you wait to check in at 2:30pm, since check out time is at 1pm. We were able to check in early when we got there but we got lucky. Showers are free, which is always a plus. The main discover trail is also a bike trail and is very popular.
