This local and well maintained park is a hidden gem, with a nice campground, cabins, and recreational facilities. Located at the top of the Bristol Hills, it affords great hiking and spectacular views, particularly from a viewing platform only a short walk from a parking lot. (And handicapped accessible). We chuckle when we drive past the Bristol Mountains Ski Resort and see people spending money to take the lift up the mountain to view the fall foliage. Ontario County Park gives much better views and is free!

I almost don't want to write a review because I want this place to stay a secret. We gladly drive an hour to visit this park because it is so beautiful and quiet. There's always a breeze, so bring a light jacket and a kite. Nice open field for kicking a ball around. Paved loop for little kids to ride bikes or roller skates. The lodges are spacious and modern. The playground keeps the kids busy. Public restrooms are clean. The trails are great too. Just an all-around lovely place to spend the day with family.

Awesome park that we come back to year after year. Great views and nice hiking trails. This year we were lucky enough to stay in one of the cabins. They were cute, clean, and spacious and even decked out with a mini fridge and microwave! Highly recommend this park for a day trip or for camping.

Great camp grounds for campers and tents! Super dog friendly! And they keep their public bathrooms cleaned pretty well. I love the sunset up there! Most definitely at the large pond!! So gorgeous. Other campers are quiet and mind their business. There's a basketball court, as well. Camping trailers have a lot a room between each other so everybody isn't smushed together.
