Situated right next to the Gallinas Creek among big Ponderosa Pines and mixed conifers EV Long CG provides a rustict type camping experience. Uses: tent and RV camping, picnicking, hiking and fishing. Facilities: 3 vault toilets, tables, fire rings, grills, and trash bins. A total of 14 camping units exist (first come basis). No hook-ups, dumpstations, or showers available. Special Instructions: Users are encouraged to recycle and pack out trash. In Las Vegas, NM, take State Rt. 65 north 15.2 miles to Johnson Mesa sign (at end of pavement). Turn left at sign and go 0.1 miles to campground on right.
Places very nice camp host does a good job of keeping the bathrooms clean keep up the good work
It was a beautiful place that was quiet and peaceful. Lots of big trees for a nice Shady spot with a screen right next to our campsite
Beautiful spot. Camped right next to the brook which was pleasant but people that live adjacent to the campground had dogs that barked all night. There was no host and the sites had not been maintained in a while. Fairly clean even so but some sites were over grown. We went in Aug 2020.
Went family camping such a beautiful area away nice and quiet nice little stream that runs off.
