Beautiful place to pull in and sleepnfor a night. First time in 30 years I slept all night without waking up. It scared me actually. Lol so quiet you can literally hear your blood pump at night
Beautiful place, but Granite Gap is a known pickup point for drugs that have come across the border. The discarded backpacks and burlap sacks on the bottom of the northern slope of Granite Peak tell the tale. Ask any border patrol or BLM officers in that area. Just be careful there!
When i was 6 yrs old, i slept an entire night without waking up, i woke up and told my mom in disbelief. lol I am 32 years old, and that has not happened since... UNTILL NOW... this place is unreal! i have never experienced quiet like this. Im from Alaska!!! this place was so silent, that i fell asleep, and did not wake up until 10 am, i usually wake up at 5 or 6. i was trippin out, cause i was so out! lol but this place is magical, very quiet, beautiful, we could hear coyotes miles away, it was awesome. 100% recommend
The view from here of the Chiricahua mountains is dreamy to say the least..
