I called and spoke to a gentleman to book for a full service site. I have a 1999 Dutchman. It is in wonderful condition! This gentleman proceeded to tell me that I was not wanted in his parts because I had an older RV. And that if I called around, I would be told the same thing by everyone in Austin! He is very wrong! I have never been treated with such rudeness by anyone in the RV business before other than this man! Everyone has always been so open and wonderful and laid-back. Not this guy! I’m thinking he might’ve been having a bad day, I really hope his day turns around. I’ve been driving for 12 hours in an RV, and he turned me away! Not cool, dude! Not cool! Just because I don’t have a brand new rig! Not everybody can afford to $400,000 rig. Thank you very much. Be nicer!
The website is out of date. They've raised their rental rates 35% since the last update, showing price as $450-$550, but are instead starting at $600+
The guy that runs this place is a grouchy old man! The sites are narrow, the showers were filthy and the pool was closed. Watch pulling in and out the driveway has a big dip and our trailer scrapped the blacktop.
I was here from January to August, as a travel nurse, left my trailer parked full time, but I was only there part time as I would go home on my week off. The owner raised the rent in June without notice, and when I asked about this, he just told me "property taxes increased". *My husband is a real estate agent; you still have to notify your tenants of increased rent and give them the option to find other opportunities.* They never addressed my issues with the horrible neighbor who cussed at all hours of the day and night, let his dog poop everywhere and his kids leave trash in everyone's lot. But he was quick to cash my check. And he only returned a portion of my deposit.
We came to the campground about 1:00 pm. No one in the office, saw our name on a board where to park and was told the price over the phone. Below the board was a drop box with envelopes. I make a check out for 4 days and sealed it . Left it in the box. We had no water hookup do to the temp. 2 days spent there, 3rd day my spouse went to the office to see if we could get water. The mgr.said it's 16 degrees out here no one has water. My spouse said isn't there somewhere. He said no. Did not apologize or try to help in any way. We decided to leave a day early. As we left, The manager called me and said, you owe us for 3 days. I said I left a check in the drop box. He said we did not get it. I said we left it there the day we got there. He said we don't have it. I blow up at him. We paid for 4 days and I would wait for the check to cash. Hung up. A few minutes later, he called me back and say he found the check, he apologized, but said I put it in the wrong box. There was a metal slot you should have used . Hung up on him again. This was the worst campground we have ever stayed ! No accountability for anything.
