Went to join some friends and family for the weekend. Brought my boat and caught some walleye and a one eyed channel catfish. Clean area with nice trails. Retail stores are only 13 minutes away.

Spent a delightful weekend with friends and family, adding some aquatic adventure to our gathering by bringing along my trusty boat. The fishing expedition turned out to be quite the memorable experience, with a bountiful catch that included walleye and a quirky one-eyed channel catfish, which added a touch of uniqueness to our angling tales.

The surrounding environment was pristine and offered an array of picturesque trails to explore. We immersed ourselves in the natural beauty, taking long walks and appreciating the serene landscape. It was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Convenience was a notable aspect of our stay, as retail stores were a mere 13-minute drive away. This proximity made it easy for us to stock up on supplies and grab any essentials we needed without disrupting the flow of our weekend getaway.

Overall, our weekend retreat was a perfect blend of outdoor adventure, relaxation, and convenience. It's an experience I'll cherish, and I look forward to returning to this idyllic spot for future escapades with loved ones.

It's more quite than I thought it would be. The landscape is beautiful. The fishing peer was a little wonky however still nice. The park was under construction and doesn't have many things for the kids to do. The bathrooms could use a little updating and cleaning, but for a campground it's not terrible I've seen way worse. Overall it was cheep and fun for a mini vacation with the kids.

Nice campground! Well-kept. Roomy sites. Very nice bathrooms and showers that are kept clean. Nice dock area for fishing. Beautiful sunsets. Bugs are not a big problem. Very dog friendly.
