Diamond Crest Resort

This was a great weekend (end of August 2020) in one of Minnesota’s most beautiful areas. We loved the access to swimming, boating, small human-powered boats like the kayak and hydrocycle. Owners included Maggie who was welcoming, efficient, helpful during the whole visit. The small cabin had everything we needed. Exactly as advertised. All stars selected!

The cabin we stayed in was "rustic" but clean, functional and comfortable. The resort location is beautiful with amazing sunrise views. I recommend Anchorage Inn for dinner out in the area. Great fishing to be had on Wabedo and Little Boy. The many loons on both lakes are a great bonus. Maggie and Jerry are warm, friendly hosts that work very hard to ensure you have a good stay. Can't wait to go back next year.

The owners were rude. They kept the deposit of one family member that died, but they still rented that cabin so they were not out anything. Unsure how they sleep at night stealing money from good honest people. There are other little add on fees that you are not told about. They are not accommodating at all, everything is on their time and you wait for them.

I came here for my first vacation in 16 years with my best friends family and i had a GREAT time. However, I didn't think it was fair that it cost me more to have my emotional support dog with me than I had to pay for myself to be there.

We absolutely love DCR! We have been going there for 3yrs, and every year just gets better. Maggie, and Jerry have to be two of the most giving people. Always there to lend a hand when needed, and believe me we need alot of hands! Location is the bomb, and the lake goes without saying. Cabins are loaded with everything you need, besides towels and food. Always clean! Thank you for another great vacation!!!
