The Homestead property has been in the family for over 85 years. Greg's Grandfather moved the family here during the Depression. They built the barn and ran a dairy farm to sustain the family.
We are excited about starting a new life for the farm. We want to give people an opportunity to enjoy the area that we have loved our whole lives.
We look forward to having you come stay, experience and enjoy The Homestead.
The Homestead at Ottertail RV Park & Resort is located in West Central Minnesota. We're 3 hrs north of Minneapolis and 90 minutes south east of Fargo.
Conveniently located in the heart of Lake Country between two major four-lane interstate highways, Highway 10 and Interstate 94, The Homestead at Ottertail RV Park & Resort offers easy access from all directions while still maintaining its “off the beaten path” feel.
Staying here is one of the highlights of our summer! We call to reserve a site for our vacation and we are remembered by name, greeted with smiles when we arrive, and are treated like old friends while we are here. Campsites are clean, well maintained, and quiet! Great people and a wonderful place to be! Wish we could spend more time here. Thanks Greg and Beth!
We had reserved a seasonal site after looking at the property and meeting Greg and Beth. It's a very nice property and the owners are great. We actually ended up having to cancel our contract. We contacted them and Greg worked with us to reach a solution. We are grateful for his flexibility and would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking for a seasonal or short term site.
Thank you Greg and Beth!
Great location! Greg and Beth are wonderful owners who were very accommodating. Knows the area very well assisted us with brewery's locations, things to do in the area and eating suggestions too. No it's not on a lake but beautiful rolling countryside. There's an outdoor pool, playground, basketball court and walking/golf cart trails. Large sites with picnic table, quarter barrel for your fire pit and full hookups. Ours was a drive through overlooking a lower level with beautiful rolling hay field as a back drop. Can't wait to go back next year!
Nice campground just south of Ottertail Lake with full hookups and 50 amp. Owners are very nice and helpful. Mostly permanent campers/residences.
We stay for 2 nights before the park is closed for the season. Greg, the owner, was courteous and showed us our site. This is a large park with about 140 sites. Sites are clean and spread out nicely and fairly leveled. We practically have the entire park floor ourselves since most other RV owners had left for the year. We'll be back.
