We stopped by to cool off in the river and the owner Joe was so welcoming and hospitable! Such a lovely place I would recommend to anyone passing through! Unfortunately, we accidentally left with a couple of ropes he let us borrow, but we are turning around to return them tomorrow. Hopefully he will forgive us!
I thankfully came across this hidden gem online. The campgrounds are beautiful & very spacious. The owner Joe- is a wholesome down to earth kind of guy. He was very friendly & helpful. We had the best campsite near the river. Our site was AMAZING! Hands down the biggest campsite I've ever stayed in! The bathroom & shower house are nice & clean. Prices are great, they have tent sites & RV sites as well. This campground also has some of the clearest & freshest spring water I've ever tasted! I highly recommend this wonderful campground to anyone looking for more rustic camping experience.
Very quiet and private place. Owner is kind and keeps a clean place. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and we'll kept. Each camp spot is well maintained with picnic tables and fire rings.
Very dog friendly and has a few nice spots for people and dog swimming.

Found this gem on Facebook and couldn't have asked for more!!!! Beautiful piece of property right next to the Cloquet river!! Clean, quiet and spacious! Ownership on site, RV Hook ups and tent sites available!! Super clean bathrooms and shower room!! Camp sites are adequately spaced out so you don't feel like your on top of each other. Close to Duluth and other state parks. We fished, swam and went tubing!!! Ownership gave great tips on local activities as it was our first time!! Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a wholesome MN camping experience!
