Located on the Snake River approximately 6 miles south of the City of McGrath on State Highway 65.
Not an amazing experience. People leaving generators running all night, people that can't control themselves or there kids. Weekend was ruined by massive family gathering, with no form of campground etiquette. Kids shining lights directly in your face, camper/tents. Running straight through our campsite as if it was there own, running past our campers/tents within arms reach. Lot next to us was so close we could hear them whispering to each other in there tent about 15 feet from our fire pit. Wouldn't be as annoyed if we didn't prepay for the entire weekend, leaving Saturday morning after arriving friday afternoon. Lots are way to close, along with the incline almost all lots have.
It's a primitive camping experience expect bugs. Dah.. And a lot of Bear tenting around the Garbage cans.. There around every night.. Making tenting suspenseful. Keep a fire going..

Its a very basic campground. One manual water access pump. On the snake river and the ATV trails are right off here you can ride your atv to get on them.
Beautiful little primitive campground right on the snake river. $15 a night is perfect to pitch a tent after riding the trails all day. Direct access to the Red Top trails and the SOO Line.
