Lack of compassion from customer service.

I don't leave reviews often, let along 1 start reviews.

We had a wonderful weekend booked here for our anniversary. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family and could not make our reservation. I reached out to customer service at Mike's for some empathy, and to help reschedule my stay - we were very excited to come here.

Their customer service will not refund or reschedule under any circumstances. Their facility is not full (22/32 are open for the following weekend at the time of this writing), and they are not missing out on customers by holding my reservation.

Buyers beware, they will keep your money and do not care whatsoever about your life.

I will not be staying here in the future and will not recommend to anyone.

When we arrived nobody was on site, it was self check in. Took us a min to find our room and parking is tight.

The beds were probably the most comfortable beds I've ever had for a vacation stay.

Got some fresh oysters in the early morning. The beach is private to the resort so we were the only ones there, it was super nice to have the pick all to ourselves.

My kids enjoyed the playground and the cat wandering around. I enjoyed the quietness of the place.

Stayed here last month with my wife and toddler. It was a last minute decision after attending a banjo festival at Hama Hama oyster saloon just down the road. We got in a little late and didn’t get to make much use of any amenities but are now trying to plan another trip back next year.

The room was clean and quaint, warm and welcoming. The view could not be improved upon.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mike's Beach Resort, and I can't stop raving about this hidden gem along the coastline. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the breathtaking view that greeted me, and my entire experience exceeded all expectations.

The standout feature of Mike's Beach Resort is undoubtedly the incredible view. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the ocean was an absolute treat. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee on your room's balcony or strolling along the beach, the view is nothing short of spectacular. It's a serene and picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

One of the unique experiences that truly set Mike's Beach Resort apart is oyster picking. The resort offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and environment by participating in oyster picking sessions. It's not only a fun activity but also a delicious one as you get to enjoy the freshest oysters right from the source. It's a memory I'll cherish forever.

While the Cabin #5 may not be the most spacious, they are impressively equipped and incredibly efficient. Every square foot is maximized for comfort and convenience. The attention to detail in room design is evident, and you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The efficient use of space makes the room feel cozy and welcoming, and I never once felt cramped.

We were recently cruising (off season) on our 28 ft boat, and desperately needed a shower. The state parks on Hood Canal were either closed or did not have a shower. We called several places, and this was the ONLY place that would allow us to take a shower for a reasonable price. THANK YOU, Mike’s Beach Resort! We also stayed here a few years ago, and enjoyed it. Recommended.
