Manchester is a nice place to camp. It's always very relaxing, and the roads are great for scootering and biking around. Rangers are so nice, along with the campground host, who let me keep a lighter when I forgot mine for our BBQ. The beach is ok, and the trails are decent.

From the park you can see Seattle in the distance. A dog friendly park. Many picnic tables scattered throughout. Parking lot can accommodate many vehicles. There is also a boat ramp.

This is a beautiful, clean park with very friendly park Rangers, staff and campground host.

The oder at low tide was a little much, but that was only while on the beach. I didn't see even one campsite that I wouldn't camp in. They are all beautiful.

The only criticism, definitely not a complaint, I may have is that while I admire the campground host's dedication, he was blowing off the parking area below the lower loop at nearly 9:00 pm just when I was trying to enjoy a quiet evening.

The park appears to draw people who camp there for the hiking trails and kayaking enthusiasts who are absent from the campground most of the day, making for a very quiet, peaceful campground.

I really enjoyed my four days there and will most definitely be back!

This park is fun to visit, the journey to get there is beautiful and the park itself is beautiful. When the tide is low, you can see lots of crabs and see little creatures under rocks and logs. There are some abandoned buildings for great pictures to take. There are tons of little trails to enjoy nature and there are beautiful views to relax and enjoy.

Clean, quiet, and private camping at this gem. Walk to clam bay and also explore the old torpedo storage building. Family park with hiking biking and exploring. Sit and watch the ships in the harbor or the ferry go by to the ferry dock.
