The Cove is located between the two small towns of Quilcene and Brinnon, nestled in a scenic area of Highway 101 that hugs the shore of the great fjord, Hood Canal and at the eastern edge of the Olympic Mountains. Within minutes there are marinas, three major rivers and clam and oyster beaches. Bring your kayaks, boats and scuba and fishing gear. Take in the annual ShrimpFest in Brinnon and the Quilcene Saturday Market, visit Whiteney Gardens & Nursery (a world reknowned rhododendren nursery) and the Quilcene History Museum. The ranger station in Quilcene offers detailed maps and information about the Olympic National Park and the Olympic National Forest and all of its many hiking trails. Camp Parsons is a mere mile from the park, making the Cove the closest, most convenient location for camping parents of the boy scouts...welcome!
Check in at Cove RV Country Store right on Hwy 101
Nice little RV park with great little store. Store is clean and well stocked with camping gear, games, junk food, and beverages. Surprisingly has fresh fruits and vegetables and quality forzen meats. One of the nicest little camp stores I have been in. The owners were friendly and it seemed to be gathering place for some friendly locals who offered me a donut.
These folks who own this store are SO friendly and are always stocked with all kinds of food, supplies and hand crafted gifts at this sweet little country store... Ya can't drive by without stopping here!
This place was really awesome! They have a group cookout every Saturday during the summer where you can go and get a burger or hotdogs. I love that they provide that and the people running the place are so friendly. If you are looking to see stuff on the east side of Olympic, I recommend this campsite.
This quiet little campground will surprise you. Roomy sites, nice neighborhood, friendly staff, and clean facilities are just starters. Then you walk into the store and find it so we’ll stocked with groceries, beverages, camping, and fishing gear that you wish you hadn’t spent so much time packing! We stayed there on a weekend there was live music, car show, vintage campers, and a fundraiser for the local fire department… will definitely be back!
Best option in the surrounding area if you’re looking to explore Olympic National Park, Forks or the Hood Canal! Super quaint, spacious campsites, and awesome staff! Super stocked Country Store so you won’t have to drive into town. My husband had a health crisis and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us a few extra days. Thanks again!
