located between Bainbridge and Vashon islands, 8 miles from downtown Seattle. It is accessible only by boat.
This is a beautiful place to camp or spend the day. The trails around the island are interesting and well kept, and mooring was easy. If you come here, please be respectful of wildlife and teach your family to do the same. I have seen way too many kids chase and harass deer, herons and racoons. Let them live peacefully in their habitat and leave them alone! Bullying animals is not acceptable, no matter how young your kids are - it's not harmless behavior in the long run.
We come here often! 🎉 The staff is wonderful, trails are maintained, and it’s great fishing. We see folks camping there and they love it too! This last trip we too our clients from out of state to see the Longhouse 🔆
I just wish people would be more responsible and respectful of the wild life. Wish people would do their research of the wildlife before they go somewhere. I myself like to hunt, fish and trap. But there is ways to do these things and be respectful! Please be careful of the geoduck and other wildlife at this park! Yes I like to go out when the tie is low. But, come on people just don't go out there and destroy the wildlife because you of you ignorance!
Peaceful state park with ample anchoring and mooring ball sites for boaters. Great trails, engaging wildlife, & a thoroughly enchanting marine setting.
Great Marine State Park with an interesting history through the Tilicum Village and Trimble family eras.
The marina slips are first come first served and fill up quickly. There are a few spots tucked behind the dock on the shore side, so you should let someone off the boat to look for those slips availability before turning away for a mooring ball. Shore power, restrooms, three large enclosed fire pits shelters (perfect for winter parties), lots of picnic tables and barbecues. Lots of trails & beach to explore.
Dogs allowed on leash. Pack in / pack out. Lots of geese and deer. Some raccoons and heron were on the waterfront eating
