This is a beautiful place to camp or spend the day. The trails around the island are interesting and well kept, and mooring was easy. If you come here, please be respectful of wildlife and teach your family to do the same. I have seen way too many kids chase and harass deer, herons and racoons. Let them live peacefully in their habitat and leave them alone! Bullying animals is not acceptable, no matter how young your kids are - it's not harmless behavior in the long run.
