Been coming here every chance I get for the last 6 years. It's an amazing campground with little to no people to deal with (at least the times I've been.) Everytime I'm here I find more to love about it. The weather the foliage and the wild life. I've seen black bear, deer and a Bald Eagle throughout the years of visiting thos campground. There's also a cool hiking trail down the road a bit Beaver Lodge Trail its a good moderate 1mile ish hike round trip with fantastic views of all sorts of nature.

Remote and spectacular campground, quiet and peaceful. We went at the beginning of June during the week and saw no fellow campers, a fisherman here and there and what seemed like every Mosquito in the northern hemisphere, we were prepared but they can be overwhelming. Doesn't distract from how beautiful this place is !

If it wasnt for the group of people that came in at 2am, blasting music, and partying until 5am...2 nights in a row I would rave about Bob Lake Campground. I have learned to bring my own weed whacker to clean up the site as most are not mowed very well. On the plus side this place is remote, no cell service, quite most of the time, and very few campers. Bug are always an issue here but just go prepared.

Absolutely beautiful! We wanted primitive and that is exactly what we got. We had the entire campground to ourselves except the first night. There are several sites on the lake and several sites just beyond. No showers but the bathrooms are clean. It has a swimming beach and boat ramp. The hike on Beaver Lodge trail was awesome besides the mosquitoes we had no complaints and were completely satisfied. There is a majestic pair of eagles and a swan plus a Loon that we loved hearing! The Chipmunks were adorable to watch ❤️😂 definitely going back the first chance we get!!

Excellent rustic campground with well water and pit toilets. Half the sites are lakefront and mine had direct access via sandy bottom beach. Bugs were awful, but it was July 5th so that’s expected. Only caught one catfish all weekend, and didn’t see anyone else pull anything out.
