Staff was helpfull and very friendly. They were great answering all of my questions as this was my first time camping with my children and first time tubing. I would recommend this campground but would caution if you have small children and you are there on the weekend as the croud loves to party. But if you camp you already know this as this is true everywhere.

I had a good previous experience here about 14 years ago. This year, we decided to go back with our daughter, and RVC did not disappoint. The upgrades and maintenance done over the years was a great mix of modern amenities and camp feel. The shuttle service to the river was streamlined, and getting off the river at camp is so much nicer than a wet bus ride back like other places. The store sells beer and cigarettes a huge convenience if you're into that type of thing. My only complaint would be the reservation system and then to arrive and see their front desk. I should be able to book over the phone.

The campground is amazing. Their fire pits are tiny.

We had 50+ people on 2 group sites and 2 - 16" fire pits. It was ridiculous.

Tubing down the Rifle River was excellent.

The facilities were very nice and clean. Just wish there were more than 8 restrooms & 8 showers for the 200+ campers.

Campground was super nice, the trip down the river was great. However, the last night we were there multiple families came up to our group stating a group of kids were being mean to our kids. We found the kids, asked them to be nice they were rude with attitude but it was what it was. 20 min later a staff member (male) came up to us while we got off the golf cart with BIG attitude, naturally I was snarky back before realizing this man wasn’t interested in anything we had to say. I immediately shut my mouth while listening to him yell at all my friends then telling us we are unable to drive the golf cart for the remainder of the evening. So, this man took the word of three kids, refused to allow our side of the story to be heard (5 adults) then as if we were children scolded us and banned our golf cart privileges, as If anything we had done even involved a golf cart. Dude was super immature and unprofessional. Hopefully y’all haven’t had the liberty of meeting this piece of work. ✌🏼

This is the worst campground I have ever dealt with. The manager in the front office told me that my camping receipt that they sent me in March doesn’t matter and that I now have to pay PER PERSON, which is not what my receipt from my March payment implies. She continually yelled at me. She called me a liar and told me I was “sick” because I didn’t know that they specifically cater to “group camping” and that the (2) “full hook up”, $22/night receipt I have actually meant per person.

I have been camping for years and have never had a problem like this. I used their website and thought, like usually I paid $22.00/night per site. Which is also what the receipt implies. I had no idea there was a problem. They told me too bad! No refund I should have known better.

The biggest concern I have is how I was treated by the office manager. I have never been more astonished at the lack of professionalism and poor decision making by someone called a manager in my life. I am an extremely reasonable person and this misunderstanding could of been handled so differently. It was three weeks before the trip, they could have refunded the $88 back and had a much more satisfied customer and still have 3 weeks to fill the site, which I am sure they could have done.

My week-end is not ruined and I feel like I just got told to go to H$#&.
