What a wonderful place to camp. Beautiful lake, campsites are well spread out.

Unfortunately they allow generators…

If you can’t go without power for a few days, why are you here??? No peace and quiet with a generator whirring, so some inconsiderate camper can sit and watch tv in their air conditioned RV, oblivious to the fact that they’re ruining everyone else’s time. There’s a reason it’s called rustic. Go to a state park where they have hookups if you don’t like nature!

Edit

Ok just took a walk to find out where the annoying generator was and guess what, it was the camp host! Unbelievable , the camp host ruining everyone’s peace and quiet

Edit2

Went to the “campground managers” trailer to tell him I’ve been listening to his generator for 3 days and ask him if he could shut off his generator a little early on my last night here, and before I could even ask him he said” Quiet time is 10 o’clock.” I said, “ I know it is but ..” then he cut me off and said” I have until 10:00, I'm not shutting it off I'm running my air conditioner!” Then he said “ if you don’t like it go camp somewhere else!” So unfortunately I called him an expletive and called American Land and Liesure and filed a complaint.

Fell in love with this place. The campground is right on the lake I didn’t see any waterfront sites but the walk to the lake and docks are a short fun hike. The sites are spacious and the only downside are the generators. Large and rustic but you will have an out house and cell phone coverage. This was my first time here and will definitely be coming back to camp here. The lake is beautiful and the experience was great. .
