About Campground

We are located between Burt Lake and Mullet Lake, and just a short drive from all major attractions. We are a full service RV resort with 150 mostly pull-through sites including “buddy” sites that face each other. 20 sites are extra large for the big rigs. We have water and electric only, 30A RV / tent sites, and 9 camping cabins with a refrigerator, microwave, heat and air conditioning. We have clean, brightly lit, modern bath houses and a heated pool. Access to the North Central bike trail is right across the street, and many ATV trails are just minutes away.

Directions

Take I-75 to Exit 313. Go north on Straits Highway (M-27) for 1 mile. Entrance is on the left. When using a GPS, navigate using our address. Do not turn onto Ranch Road even if your GPS tells you to.

Great location, great service, and the whole place was very nice!

Pros: great location, very well maintained and clean, the staff were so nice and friendly!!!!, They had donuts and coffee complimentary, the store was great! With lots of goodies. The pool was small but great and clean, and they picked up the trash which I always appreciate. And the road was paved which I like.

And only few cons: the number of wasps.. They were everywhere! Apparently it was a strange year for them so that couldn't be helped. And I noticed sewer smell near the kids playground so we didn't play there long.

We had a great time and would come back again!

Very nice place. Well maintained, obvious pride taken in the grounds and buildings. The amenities are plentiful: pool, store, off leash dog run, nature trails & a wide variety of outdoor games. There are wifi boosters throughout the park but our experience was that you needed to be at a site VERY close to one to get a strong signal. We were here during a quieter week so overloaded bandwith shouldn't have come into play. I just sat at a picnic table (which by the way are a sturdy plastic and so much nicer than the heavy wooden ones) at an empty site by a booster to get a little work done.

When we arrived we were escorted to our site and the man said we could move the fire ring to accommodate our site set up. This seems like a little thing but is really a nice convenience. The water pressure was good and we had a nice sized back in site (106) for our travel trailer. The park location is convenient for the many local attractions. The price is more than we typically like to pay but competitive for the area. We spent 8 nights and had a lovely time.

This family owned campground is ideally situation between Indian River and Topinabee with close access to both Mullet and Burt Lakes and a very short drive to I-75 for extended North and South travel. The lots are roomy, amenities plentiful, and the best service you could ever ask for. Everything is well-kept and extremely clean. They built a new camp store with anything you may have forgotten along with a little grocery and cute memorabilia. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was absolute bliss the entire time. I could not recommend them more highly!

Tater is a fantastic host. Willing to assist with your site or recommend a restaurant or local attraction. The site is clean, safe and has all the amenities you’d require. If you’re looking for a Kennedy launch view, this is perfect.

Looking forward to being back.

Nicest park I've ever stayed in. Level sites with full hookup and a cement patio. Very well maintained and quiet and comfortable. Staff was beyond outstanding and service was super. I gave 5 stars for service and I honestly do not give 5 stars for anything. This is probably my first time ever. Lots for kids to do and everything was clean and well managed. We had our golf cart but there really isn't anywhere to go except in circles around the park. The park itself is quite full. Not quite 'sardine can' camping but very close in some spots. Also very pricey. Overall a great campground and nice weekend.
