We just our annual family reunion and we had a great time. Rec Hall was cool with a/c and plenty of room for family of 100 or more. Any issues the staff was super accommodating. We stayed in the RV spots that were super close to the Rec hall which was a huge convenience. The porch and play area was great for our EGG HUNT too.

As other have commented it’s a beautiful quiet place to camp. The phones don’t work and the WiFi is awful. Sue in the office is awesome.

Over a year and a half ago I tried to get reservations and was told that they were not taking reservations that far in advance. Now with only a few months until I have to be there that are still not taking reservations and still can not tell me if I will be able to reserve a spot in time. I am now hoping that I can secure lodging somewhere in the area on time.

Advertising was very deceiving. Said they had WiFi it was spotty at best. Lasted for 4 days.

Pool was not usable. Algae all over it.

Has the possibility of being a great place to stay. Definitely needs some TLC.

And a crew to manage both the grounds and the pool.

Won't be back. Done

We did a college roommate meet-up here the weekend before Thanksgiving and had a ball. Some of us stayed in cabins; one parked the RV - great to have everyone within walking distance.

Beautiful view of the hill country from our cabin porch (oh, the stars!), short hikes with a cave and observation decks along the way. Very family and pet friendly.

Our cabin was like an NPS cabin - very functional, very clean - but with better linens and parking right there. Wi-fi reception is spotty, but that's true for the whole valley. Was kinda nice to unplug and just be with people I haven't seen in a while.

Dylan let us use the main building as a gathering place for our Saturday night dinner, even lit a fire for us. Super nice guy.

I'll be back for sure!!
