From jct Hwy 16 & I-10: Go 6 mi W on I-10 (exit 501), then 1/4 mi N on FM 1338.
Super clean….even showers, etc. mostly motorhomes or large 5th wheels. Nice pool and hot tub. Heat Pickleball courts. Staff was awesome. Neat little store with some cool food options. Nice breakfast served in the barn for guests. Easy access to town. Just a very nice, relaxing stay for us!
Beautiful RV Park! The park is outstanding. They have trash pickup daily, they have two RV detailing mobile service companies on file, Propane truck comes to your RV to top the tanks off on Fridays, they have lots of site seeing activities, afternoon events to get folks mingling, tennis and pickle ball courts with pickup games at 0900 CST. Our site 6149 was in the new executive area with large concrete pads, golf course like grass area, patio table and chairs on concrete pad. No burn pits unless you bring your own. A river flows through the park. If you wish to see high end diesel pushers this place is it. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed for two weeks in a pull through. Really nice park! Daily trash pick up at your site! Nice came store, free package pick up, friendly staff and owners! We love the adult pool. Well maintained property and love the location! The resort offered a slab of bbq ribs delivered to you site for Labor Day for just $22. Super tender and yummy! Nice treat! Laundry rooms are well kept and machines work great. Family run and look forward to coming back!! Great roads in the park and easy off the highway! Love this place!!!!!
Easy access from interstate. Large fenced in dog park. We have a 32' 5th wheel and the campsites are large and pristine. A beautiful place to stay. We paid $50 with a Good Sam discount.
Buckhorn Lake Resort is superb. Easily accessible from the Interstate, the sites are large, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the staff is outstanding.
Along with all the usual amenities you’d expect from a first-class resort, they also have a monthly schedule of activities where you can meet your neighbors and have fun.
The layout of the park addresses most needs. A nice dog walking area, a scenic little lake, a quiet adults-only section where you don’t have to listen to kids, and a gathering area in the middle of the park that has a bar where you can BYOB and share some time with your new friends. Nice touch!
There are a lot of parks given a five-star rating because they are clean and decent. Buckhorn Lake truly deserves its five-star rating. It goes WAY beyond expectations!
