Had a blast at my sister's camper. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are activities like bingo and bands. Food offerings are small but food is good. The site and grounds were clean and well spaced. Really enjoyed my weekend
Just spent a weekend here. We were really happy with the entire experience. The sites were in good shape and a good size. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a bunch of activities centered around an early Halloween including trick-or-treating, a hay ride (no hay, probably good for allergies), pumpkin painting, and a band. Really well done. Seems like a lot of seasonal campers, but it certainly wasn't cliquey and everyone was friendly. We have stayed in a few other campgrounds pretty close by and had good experiences but this became our favorite.
We are in our 3rd year of seasonal camping and couldn't have been happier with our choice of campground. Everything from the owner to other campers at Markham Meadows make it a wonderful friendly environment. Our 4 children love the freedom, they fish and ride bikes all day. Awesome family friendly campground...it may not be as big as summer of the other campgrounds in the area but that's what makes it great, it reminds us of our childhood and camping with family.
We were very pleased with Markham Meadows hosting the anunul Snowflake Bazaar on Saturday! We will again rent a table for our krafts next year! Festivals decorated and food was excellent!
We stayed in the King George’s cabin and it was perfect for any “glamper”! Very clean and comfortable. Nice pool and lake- lots of fun for kids. Staff was wonderful and very kind. Campground was a great central location to lots of hiking and sightseeing in the surrounding areas. We really enjoyed our stay!
