From Watersmeet, MI, take US Rt. 2 east 3.9 miles to campground sign. Turn left onto Marion Lake Rd. and go 1.7 miles to another campground sign. Turn right onto Forest Rt. 3985 and go 0.4 miles to campground.
Early in the season half the campground was open. We camped on the lake, nice spacious spots, very easy to back into primitive of course Ottawa national Forest. $16.00 per night. Super clean. Will stay again.
If you like campgrounds this one isn't half bad. It's on a fairly scenic lake and there are plenty of other things to do around here if you use it as a base camp. The restrooms and other facilities are fine enough and what you should expect for a Forest Service campground.
