In town on US 41.
Very clean and bathroom facility and warm showers. Each camping space has a fire ring, picnic table, and cemented parking area. The lawn is extremely well maintained. It is right next to river and there is a cute lighthouse and beach not far away. Also a little fishing dock. You can't go wrong with this place. Also, pretty much no mosquitoes here which was awesome.
The campground is nice, most sites have some shade. It is on the river, and sometimes it gets quite windy, so keep that in mind. The highway is also right next to you, so there is that constant noise, but it’s not extremely terrible.
It’s conveniently located near a grocery store, laundromat, hardware store, fast food, and more. All within walking distance. Bathrooms and showers were nice and always clean. Campground feels safe and secure, with a security camera at the gate.
We stayed for a month, we asked to extend our reservation but they told us no because they “didn’t have room”. But there were plenty of spaces available when we left, and every time we drove by there was plenty of space (I’m originally from the area, and we now live in Menominee, we needed somewhere to stay a bit longer until we finalized on our house). Luckily they had plenty of spaces at a campground outside of town.
Very quiet and clean campground. Also seems better for adults. There is a small playground but didn't see many children there
Cleanest and campsites well manicured.
Easy access to river and lake. Extremely close to all shopping.
Geese make a Big mess all over the place. Can hardly walk out your door without stepping in the mess. Noisy road noise and train horns. Only 30amp but can live with that. Broken wood on the bench and grass by river needs to be cut. Could be a nice place if better taken care of.
