Nice little beach walking the trail to the beach with poison ivy sign (off to the side) was a little nerve-wracking for the wife! Lol

The camp host takes a lot of pride in the campground it is very clean and well maintained. It is extremely close to the beach there is a wide 92 step stairway on the southwest corner or a moderate steep path on the northwest corner to access the beach. Our 21 year old son walks with canes and both were difficult for him to maneuver... there was an elderly couple discouraged by both avenues. The sites are quite large and you do not feel suffocated. Water is the only negative issue as there are only 6-8 water spouts located throughout the campground so have extra hose or containers to transport water. Summer weekends are completely full, but M-TH you almost have park to yourself. No shower faculty and only two bathrooms (pit toilets but they are maintained and clean. After hours were quiet.

We will return. Several activities to do within 15 miles. We plan to come back to visit some day.
