The Manton Trails RV Park& Campground has 146 sites, nestled on 80 acres and a campground surrounded by State land and close to the State’s Snowmobile/ORV Trail Head of the Manistee National Forest. Our bathhouse is clean, and our showers are hot. We are located 15 minutes north of Cadillac and 30 minutes SE of Traverse City. Manton Trails welcomes families, couples, and groups looking to relax, reconnect with family, and enjoy all the wonders of nature. The property also has event facilities that can be rented for group meetings, weddings, and activities. There are many canoe liveries near Manton Trails which provide an excellent nautical Manistee River experience for your family. If some of your party would prefer to stay within four walls rather than camping, they can reserve a room at the Manton Hotel located on the property.
We stayed at Manton Trails RV Park & Camping this past weekend. We actually stayed in the hotel. We found the room very clean, the bed was comfortable, management was responsive to our questions. We rode through the grounds and everything was immaculately maintained. Campground looked very nice although we didn’t stay there. If you’re in the area to ride the ATV trails, this is the place. You can ride to the trails right from the hotel/campsite! We will be back.
Rooms were clean. However on a dirt road over a mile of dirt road before get to hotel. Was told had to make reservations (after calling to check availability and talking to someone) online or incurr a fifty dollar charge. Noisy sounds from outside room. No vending machines. Mattresses made loud noise everytime you moved on them.
We love this park it was our second time staying it is reasonably priced we were there 45 days. It is clean and well maintained with large pull in sites, plenty of trees,wi fi, live music on Saturday, fire wood delivered to sites and clean bath house. The owner is very hands on. We live in Florida and look forward to our next visit.
Returned to Manton Trails Campground for a second time this Summer. Love the roomy camp spots, easy access to hundreds of miles of orv trails and seasonal roads to ride and the peacefulness of the location. We are already planning a third visit before the season ends. Also it's a short jaunt to the town of Manton where there is great shopping and a neat ice cream shop and restaurant called "Lattitude 44". Campground is very dog-friendly too.
