About Campground

Nestled 10 miles outside Hayesville, our 11-acre Magical Mountain Resorts campground backs into the Tusquitee Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest. Covering many of the mountains and valleys of southwestern North Carolina, the Nantahala National Forest is the largest in the state, encompassing 531,148 acres with elevations ranging from 5,800 feet at Lone Bald in Jackson County to 1,200 feet in Cherokee County along the Hiwassee River. In addition to stunning views and hiking opportunities, the forest also boasts access to three beautifully pristine lakes, two major rivers, and three large reservoirs.

These awe-inspiring landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for families and individuals looking to escape from the daily grind by relaxing in nature or enjoying recreational activities including boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, and sailing.

Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the hanging teapots and toadstools heralding the entrance to Alice’s White Bunny Cottage and experience fairy tale cottage living with all the comforts of home! Relax in this cottage nestled next to a certified trout stream. Guests can relax at a table overlooking the water or enjoy sitting on a covered front deck or around the firepits located on-site. The glow in the dark teapots hanging from the trees greet guests and glowing flowers add a magical touch as night starts to fall.

We loved the property and would recommend anyone staying here. The hosts were super friendly and the property was so colorful and inviting. The cottage were well decorated and the dump station was easily accessible for us.

If you want a dose of magic in your life....don't hesitate to book a stay at any of these themed cabins and Rvs. The property is nestled in the beauty of the Blue ridge mountains andnthe sights and sounds on the drive up were so peaceful andnserene. We stayed at the Queen of Hearts Cabin and although we only booked 1 night, we had the BEST time. The cabin itself was clean, unique, and filled with little creative details around every corner. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and experiencing all the love poured into every inch. We are excited to see what is to come and cannot wait to go back! Cannot recommend enough!

This place is absolutely amazing. The only reason that I put Rooms and Location at 4 and not 5 stars is due to the fact that they have only been open for 7 months. They are still building many of the cabins and amenities that will be available. The staff working were absolutely amazing and did anything they could to make our stay fantastic. I spent the night in the Knightbus, Grounds keeper's cabin, and Alice's Queens cabin. The amount of thought and detail put into the themes and decor are just off the charts. Definitely would recommend, and can't wait to see what they come up with next!!

Just had the most magical experience at Shannon's place with her 2 adorable furbabies! The Alice in Wonderland cabin was a dream come true - so cozy and enchanting. Shannon was a fabulous host and made our stay an absolute pleasure. The property was beautiful, with serene enchanted forests that made for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. You can tell she puts a lot of time and effort into making sure her guests have a great stay. Can't wait to come back and stay in one of the other cabins! Such a great experience. ✨🌿🐾 #MagicalGetaway #EnchantedForest #AliceInWonderlandCabin #GreatHost

We had a fabulous time staying in the magical mountain enchanted forest! We stayed on the Harry Potter themed Midknight bus and we had the best time. Our kids can’t wait to come back and neither can we!

No detail was overlooked in the decor and themed designs in each unique abode. You truly feel like you have left reality and entered another land.

The creek by the hammocks, swings, life sized chess, fairy garden and multiple fire pits makes this the perfect setting to get away from it all any time of year!

Our hostess was incredible. So friendly and thoughtful with two of the cutest, sweetest dogs who loved players with our kids. We can’t wait to come back!
