Lupin is a welcoming and sweet community of hippies young and old. I love that it's clothing optional in a very relaxed and family friendly way. It's a rare thing to be able to sunbathe nude and not worry about who might be around. It's wonderful to feel comfortable in one's own skin and see others just as comfortable. Lupin is lovely place to relax and is a great base camp for adventures in Santa Cruz and the surrounding areas for hiking, climbing and biking. At Lupin itself you can enjoy the pool, hot tub, tennis court, volleyball court and all the activities the staff organize. I've been to Lupin three times and I look forward to going back soon.

My partner and I (both 27 year olds, and queer) had an amazing experience all around. Great food, clean facilities, and kind and thoughtful management. We car camped knowing that we'd want to spend ample time exploring the grounds. We hiked in the morning, swam in the afternoon, and enjoyed expansive views, and kind, genuine, and interesting company. This community isn't for everyone, but if you're looking for an authentic naturist experience, look no further.

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights in a Yurt at the Lupin Lodge. We had an absolutely amazing time!!! The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. There’s a chef who works the weekends, she was exceptionally amazing. She whipped us up personalized meals/ drinks. All the food was fresh and delicious. This was our first time at a clothing optional resort and the vibe was so friendly/ welcoming/ non-judgmental. We would definitely recommend a visit to this wonderful place. And we will back again soon!
