This place is a small campground. We have stayed one night here.

We did a big road trip accross the west of the USA and this campground was definitly the worst in which we stayed.

First, the only positive aspect is that the place is quiet and the scenery is natural.

The site is managed by people who are unfortunately no longer able to do it. The campground is almost in ruins. The showers, or the shower I should say (because 2 out of 3 are out of order) are dirty and in very bad shape as well as the toilets and the wash stands.

There is one swimming pool, in ruins too, with weeds growing into it, and therefore not in service.

Last point, the night rate is expansive though !

I don't recommend this place at all.

the showers are clean but because of a sewer problem while your showering it smells like rotten eggs...but the shower is clean and only 1 out of 3 works.....i stayed in a spot with no septic, and my 'neighbor' tried to tell me to "move my fire pit" and boss me around on where i should have a fire......it was rude. the septic from that spot also would leak into my spot and it was mushy and wet and gross. The play field described on the website is just a patch of grass that other campers were parked on so my kids really had no room to play so we took them to delaveaga park for a picnic instead. this place is good for a quick night if you need rest from being tired on the road and a simple shower, but not a great place for exploring, or safe for children, and no one should have to breathe septic, nasty.

Made reservations over the phone. Person I talked to was very friendly . We reserved a tent site for two nights and was told it was a dog friendly place. It was nice when we pulled in and man who checked us in was nice. The tent site was in the center of the main road surrounded by RVs on a small grassy area. And there right against the tree on our tent site a sign that no dogs on grass. So we could only have our dogs on our hot car?? Or the tent that would have sat in the sun. We decided to ask for a refund and left.

Awesome place if you want to be one with nature. Close to the beaches, restaurants and shopping. The owners are extremely nice. I left a voicemail and my call was returned within a half hour. It's also located on the other side of Highway 1, so there weren't any issues with the tsunami that hit the Pacific Coast.
