From jct I-75 & US 2: Go 2 mi W on US 2, then 1-1/2 mi SW on CR 405 (Point La Barbe Rd).
We been coming about 6 years now. We always enjoy our time here. The campground had always been nice and peaceful until this year. August Wednesday to Saturday night we had to hear four huge dogs barking in one RV from morning until night which was very unpleasant. Plus, when other people walking their dogs the four huge one plus every other dog would start barking, it just makes it hard to enjoy sitting outside during day. Another problem people leaving dogs all day in their RV alone while away and barking all day constantly. Other than that we enjoy coming. Stricter guidelines should be made for dogs. By the way I love dogs.
Nice place but we had a group of people across from us that were pretty obnoxious. We like to have a good time but they were up partying all night into the day hours.. There wasn't any staff available for any issues or concerns after 5p when the office closed.
