We camped at the park campground for a couple nights, there is a hiking biking trail to Ginnie Springs, lots of fishing areas and boat docks and ramp.
Pet friendly. Campground had great shower houses. Everything is very clean and well kept, friendly staff at campground. Only 1 negative, you can hear constant interstate traffic, and noise from a manufacturing plant near by, would give 5 stars if not for that, but it is not bad enough to be a deal breaker for going back.
Sorry. The park is a five star. Campsites are all nice sized and shady. Access to lake is nice. 6 toilet and shower rooms. The noise level off of 17 was really bad for me. The train too close and running all night long.
Over all, this was a great experience. Not very crowded and spacious. Water was beautiful and great for kayaking. Next to the expressway. So not very quiet nor an escape from the city.
This is a nice community park with lake access (boat ramp) that also has camping facilities (trailer and tent). There is a ranger station there for assistance. The park has a small playground, volleyball court, pavilions, restrooms, and ample parking. The restrooms are nice, clean, and for single (private) use. I was impressed. I used the park for the Spring to Spring trail access. This is a nice area to go camping if you don’t mind the road noise - probably not bad at night.
