Great campground, clean, friendly staff... It's first come, first serve, NO reservations accepted... Close to Shell Mound Trail & Archaeological Site, and the Observation Deck. Two boat ramps to put in your boat or kayak... Lots of great spots to take pix of sunrises, sunsets & wildlife... Max stay is 7 days...
Campground was full and all the people are pretty nice.
Has bathrooms and a single shower stall in both bathrooms. Surprisingly they are pretty clean
My friends and I stayed for the weekend. Don't be surprised if you are up at night or wake up to Wild Hogs. And I'm not talking no 35lb hogs. I mean 250-350lb wild hogs. Big piggies. I saw 2 very huge black ones at night around 11pm-12.
