From Highway 71 North take Pineville exit, go 1 mile to bridge, cross over bridge then turn Left into Kozy Kamp. From Highway 71 South Take EE (Piveville-Lanagan Exit) turn Left then turn Right, down hill to right - at stop light turn Right into Kozy Kamp.
I can’t speak to anything but the cabins. The only reason this got two stars is because everyone we worked with was courteous and professional. However, our cabin’s toilet did not flush, the water did not come out to wash hands, and the bathroom door fell off. The whole structure wobbled when walking across and there was a giant hole at the bottom of the stairs. If staying here, avoid the cabins.
Floating - I've used this outfitter a couple of times. The low rating is for the facility as well as their refund policy. We went last weekend and were some of the first people checking in that morning. The bathrooms were in terrible condition, which you'd think they'd be in their best shape first thing in the morning. We also accidentally reserved one more kayak than we needed, immediately called within minutes of booking to fix our mistake, and they said they would not refund. We weren't cancelling our whole trip, just one boat (of 5). Couldn't understand why this wasn't possible given that we had just submitted the booking minutes before.
Had a wonderful time over the weekend! Of course we went on the hottest weekend of the whole year.so the tiny window units in our cabin didn’t quite cut it! However, I’m still giving it 5 stars since we had a blast!
I would not recommend this campground to anyone and it was nothing like I was expecting. If you’re going to go, there’s no point of getting one of their tiny cabins, and just be sure to bring your own toilet paper and soap for your trip to use their bathroom. The staff was kind and easy going except for some guy named Rylen(?) who was extremely rude. There’s lots of other campgrounds around…pick a different one.
We were there over the 4th of July with my brothers family. We each have 2 large 5th wheels. This campground is not designed for campers. The slots are very narrow. Our first spot had bad wiring at the post. We hooked up and it started smoking. They did give us the option of going to another one of their campgrounds, which we did. Whitney, at Kozy Camp, was awesome and tried to be very helpful. The other site also had narrow slots. Nice place for tent camping, river is nice, but I would not go with an rv.
