Went for a weekend stay and really got to experience every aspect! Karaoke night, Bingo night, the pool, food vendors on site for the day, arts & crafts, the arcade! It was a great experience and every single person on staff who we met was kind, friendly, and so helpful! We met so many wonderful people and loved it there, we are already planning to go back! It was clean, sites were really spacious and well kept. Snack bar had a great selection of fun foods and most importantly, ice cream. Bought firewood onsite.
The sites are a liitle to close to each other with no real separation. The staff was wonderful. Was fairly quiet. My only real pet peeve was their "snack shack" very limited menu. They had pizza by the pie only. Chicken tenders and chicken wings. Sides fries and onion rings. Since I am not a fan of chicken... Hamburgers, hot dogs and/or a tuna sandwich would have been nice. A little fenced in dog park would have been good. While the campground is dog friendly, just like humans, the dogs could use some playtime too. Would camp here again.
We spent two nights at this campground and had a wonderful time. It was very clean, and pleasantly quiet. We started in one site which was nice and close to the pond, but did switch to a different site the second night only because we preferred more sunlight. Because it was a weekday, there were a couple of empty spots and the staff was very accommodating. I liked that there is a gated entry-it just feels safer. Great arcade and game hall and a beautiful pool. Close to Rhinebeck and Red Hook so plenty to do when you are out and about. Highly recommend!
This was one of our favorite places on this trip. ❤️. The campground was SUPER clean and organized for comfort. The staff was great. I was sad we were only able to stay one night. When we are in the area again, we will stay more.
Having a great stay! Weather finally cooled down, and fall will soon be here. Beautiful campground (albeit hilly) and very helpful staff. The resident campers are friendly as well as the temporary campers....there seems to be an air of happiness and contentment here. This place has been on my list for a while. Looking forward to returning soon!
