A great family-oriented Lake. Affordable camping boat launches shore fishing Kitty pond. Just beginning to be good fishing. But next year they will be draining it. Go get your fishing in now. Bass bag limit 4 per person and size limit 14 in. All others no bag or size limit this year only due to drainage next year
Very comfortable kayaking experience. Beautiful views.
May 2022, editing to add its currently being drained, so unfortunately no kayaking this year but the camp grounds are open!!
No water at the slough right now... but still a great area to have a picnic and to walk around!
Offers lots of outdoor opportunities. The main access has camping and lakeshore fishing and a boat ramp. It's size implies that in summer it's busy. Meanwhile, there are nearly 2 dozen parking access points around the property, providing hunting access -in season- and hiking, birding, and wildlife watching the rest of the year.
