Basic and nice in city campground. No frills but full hookups and they guide you to your site. Open year round. Friendly staff. We have used this 4 times. 45 foot motorhome.

Was a little nervous pulling in to the campsite. But it actually ended up being great for our needs. We stayed for the Louder than Life music festival. The convenience store had some things that I forgot to pack. The sites are a little narrow, so if you have a large camper it might be tight, but our 24 footer with a single slide out fit perfect. And there was room for us to be able to sit outside if we wanted. Though, we really just slept here. We were gone all day. The bathrooms were clean as was the entire facility really. Biggest complaint is how close it is to some very active train tracks, but I grew up in a small town with a track running through it, so that didn’t bother my too terribly much.

All in all, would stay here again if I was just passing through or staying in town for an event.

We stayed here for Louder Than Life Festival and we were more than pleased. At check in they drove us to pick a spot and had staff ready to help us back in if needed. There was a store on site which was great. We intend to stay here in the future when in the Louisville area. The train came by multiple times but was no bother. The site was very well maintained, clean and offered everything you would need. Also had great neighbors! The spots are tight but we had plenty of room to do what we needed to do. Highly recommend if you’re in the Louisville area.

This is a parking lot. Spots are TIGHT and there's no green grass. If you're looking for a cheap place, that's super close to Louisville, for the two major music festivals- 5 stars...can't beat it.

If you're looking for a place to actually camp and do camp things - this is NOT it. As long as you know what you're getting into and why you'd stay there, you're gonna be good. The older lady that works the store/check-in can be curmudgeonly, but the younger girl and the younger guy that rides the golf cart are cool.
