Located on County Road 424 East in Defiance County between the Village of Florida and Independence. Approximately 4 miles east of Defiance.
3 mile each way out and back hiking path. Not the most scenic and close to the road but it seemed well maintained. Prob better not in winter months.
It's truly underrated and beautiful here. There is generally some litter, which is sad. Mostly the grounds are well maintained, and you can see a decent amount of wildlife. Although, I've never seen larger animals, but I don't stay very long. It's also secluded enough but not remote to the point of feeling dangerously alone. A lovely place to throw rocks, have a picnic, take a walk, read a book, or take in the serene sounds of nature.
Always a relaxing place to stop and walk around. Park Alison always clean and maintained very well.
