The management that runs this campground need to be replaced. Have stayed here for several years and every single year we have issues with our reservations, unexplained additional charges and just confusion inside that camp store. They want to close the camp store down at one hour, but will stop serving ice cream at different time. Can't charge that credit card unless you are charging $10 minimal. They even charged a customer $10 fee because they had to cancel because their spouse passed away. Now that tells you what kind of money hungry campground this truly is....

My mother and I booked a reservation to stay in a cabin at this resort 1 year in advance. We called 1 week before our reservation to get firewood delivered, come to find out our reservation no longer existed due to a cancellation request in March via email?!?! We were furious, as we were traveling from Northern Illinois with small children. Cedarlane RV Resort couldn’t produce the cancellation request we supposedly made in March. We met another family on a beach in Port Clinton that unfortunately experienced the exact same thing we did with this resort. In the end, Cedarlane RV Resort did nothing to help our family or made an attempt to make it right after we didn’t make the cancellation to begin with. We also had to scramble to find an AirBNB which ended up working out so much better for our family. I give this place zero stars for customer service, truly sad.

Nice campground. Well maintained. The pools are nice. Small area inside where you can buy alcohol and sandwiches and ice cream.

Bathrooms are okay. They do have continuous hot water and good pressure. The campground was quiet.Fair prices. No hidden fees.

The site we originally were supposed to have wasn't quite ready yet I don't think. The septic drain was way too high and capped off. And there was a large amount of rocks in the parking area. But they were able to move us to a different spot that was very nice.

Visually this park looks nice and was very convenient to the port to get to Put in Bay. Few things = Shower house at the far end of the park needs either totally replaced OR a major upgrade / renovation. Very dark and dirty looking. Showers do not look like a place to get clean. Bigger issue was the mosquitoes. I understand camping and being outdoors, been doing it for 30 years however, the mosquitoes were so bad here we couldn't even be outside the camper. Even spraying down with Off didn't help. We ended up with over 60 bites between the two of us within 15 mins. Even our dog was bit near her eyes. I've seen plenty of parks that address the issue and come thru and spray to keep them down. As soon as we could find another park that could take us, we packed up and left. No one from Cedarlane even cared that we left an entire day early. Would not return here.
