We stayed at this KOA for a week while visiting Sandusky. We had a bay view spot and couldn't have been more pleased with it. The view of the bay especially in the morning was gorgeous. The site was pretty big with lots of room for our pup to move around. I especially loved that their was a table and chairs with an umbrella instead of a picnic table and a glider to relax on in the evening around the fire. The campground was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome experience! Office staff was friendly and helpful! Amazing activities director! Rented the 3 bedroom lodge. It was clean and well maintained. Perfect location, within 10 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go.

We stayed here twice this summer. 1st time was for our anniversary and i had booked our RV site and 2 cabins for our parents. The staff was amazing and helped us get our older parents settled into their cabins. Answered all our questions and were very helpful the whole time we were here. We then stayed in October with our friends. We were bayside during the worse rain storm we have seen in awhile. It was crazy windy bayside and even though it was miserable weather wise we made some amazing memories dealing with it. We can't wait to stay here next year. We will be staying here instead of at Cedar points campgrounds as its nicer and more camper friendly plus its only 10 mins to the front gate. Thank you KOA and well done staff!

I have to take the time to thank the staff of the KOA for their customer service when a storm of epic proportions hit the campground. I reached out to the office at 12:30 a.m. when our cabin began to take on water. I knew they were closed, but took a chance and desperately hoped that someone would answer. They not only answered, but Jen from the office waded through water up to her shins to get to us! She came to down to assess the situation and assured us she would help. She left and came back a second time! This time she had a map and gave us directions to a nicer cabin on higher ground to stay in. Their crew worked tirelessly into the wee hours of the morning pumping water and the next day cleaning up and getting the pool ready, even making sure there was biscuits and gravy to feed the guests as water line burst and there was no water to make pancakes. One of the crew members stopped on a dime in his truck when I flagged him down to drive us back to our 1st cabin and pick up our belongings rather than have to walk back and forth in the water.

Their customer service was the reason we got to stay and had a wonderful trip visiting Kelley's Island and the local area. Otherwise we would've gone home with terrible memories. Thank you thank you! Please know you are appreciated
