South Bass Island is accessible by ferry from Port Clinton or Catawba Island. From Miller Ferry, right on Langram, left on Meechen, left on Catawba.
The park is a nice alternative to the busier part of the island and a great spot for kids and parents alike.
Original site of the Victory Hotel now a nice campsite area. Located at the south end of the Island.
Nice campground with a lot of trees. Some of the campsites are close to one another. The restroom and shower house is about average for a Ohio state park. if you want to go to put in bay be advised, there’s very little parking. A golf cart or a scooter is ideal here. some of the water hook ups are a little too far from the camper and on the wrong side so be advised, you may need extra hose.
