A great family campground with numerous activities for the kids. The owners, Doug and Brenda, live onsite and were very accommodating during my five month stay. They have a nice store which sells your normal camping fare, along with propane and firewood. During the weekends they have the "Snack Shack" that serves camping comfort food. The campground is peaceful and quiet. It's a hidden gem that is only twelve minutes off the OH Turnpike for you overnighters with pull through sites. I will definitely be staying here again when my work brings me back to this area. Thanks again Doug and Brenda for an amazing stay!

I stayed here with my family. First off I loved the place setting its was beautiful. However the owner not so much. There family portrays to be Christians however there the devil. They discriminated against my family because of our past. What I did when I was a child should not effect you as an adult. People change. Secondly they took our money, then ran a background check on me and my wife. Then he comes to our camper to say he can't someone camping here rhat has a felony from 20 years ago from growing pot. I have never been treated so bad in my life for something I did 20 years ago. He threw me and my family out that day.not even a chance to explain just get out. O and did I mention I had 3 kids with me.

Always willing to try to accommodate and constantly adding things for kids and adults. My only complaint is the bathroom/shower situation. Small and a bit out of date, at least the building near the front.

Newer outlet breaker boxes with 2 on each pole so you can park your camper forward or back. Beach and playground area are kept well, same with the volleyball net area.

Truthfully, I would give them a 4.6 star but I can't do that and a 5 leaves no room for improvement.

The owners actually care and know a lot of the people there. If that's what you are looking for I definitely recommend the campground as you will consistently see them improving for the better every year.

Update: 9/24/23

New updates this year with one of restroom/shower houses removed for updates. New playground equipment has been added in 2 locations and some campsites updated with gravel pads. Prices did go up but the campground shows that they are putting the additional funds towards improvements.

We stayed here once and already have a second stay booked! I loved everything about my stay, even the visitor (racoon) we had in the middle of the night. Even though he ripped a borrowed tent. What kind of an outdoor experience would it be if we didn't experience wildlife at its finest?

We had a site, way out back. All to ourselves. My husband, 2 kids (9 & 11), and I. It was so peaceful, I really needed that. We rented a golf cart for the 3 day Memorial Weekend stay. Their firework show was phenomenal! Hands down one of THE best that I've ever been to. The owners were nice and helpful. Their older children had activities going for the kids. My kids loved it. Although we took their bicycles, the only wanted us to take them in the golf cart everywhere. Lol. It was there first time.

Definitely recommend! Already trying to convince my husband into becoming seasonal campers 😀

Extremely friendly family. Has lots of activities for kids on the weekends and there is an ice cream shop. Lots of activities for adults too. Garage sale weekend, fireworks for the Fourth of July, decorating golf carts, raffles. Has a nice stocked pond that is catch and release. Swimming in the pond and also have a pool. Playground in multiple spots for the kids. Very well kept up and clean. Candy sales. Everyone is so friendly. Felt safe letting the kids ride their bikes all over.
