From US 30, take US 127 S thru Van Wert. The fairground is located on the S side of Van Wert on Rt 127 (Washington St).
As a wedding professional the building on the Fairgrounds is a nice building to work in. It has plenty of space and easy to load in and out of. It has a large parking lot and vendors can pull right up to the doors. Ron (Magic Moment Entertainment)
The Fairboard is doing a great job bring this fair back to what it once was. Marie is doing a great job as marketing Director. If you want really good wood fired pizza visit the east side of the racetrack. You will wait about 20 minutes but it is worth it.
I went there for the US 127 yard sale they had a big setup there lots of vendors from all over lots of interesting stuff highly recommended for next year. Alot easier than stopping along 127 at different houses and almost getting hit and have to turn around and all that great stuff
I enjoy going the the fair every year, bad thing is, It's too expensive to get in and rides are expensive but maybe I like it so much is because its nostalgic.
