I remember this place being alot better when I was younger. Came as a visitor to a friend's seasonal camper for the holiday weekend and was definitely treated as an outside and a bother the moment I pulled in by the "owner". It was about 1 or 2pm on Saturday and he had clearly been drinking heavily as I could smell it on him when he stopped me to talk about what business I had being there. Very unprofessional. The place had gone downhill. Sad.
As Ed’s getting older it seems the service is getting worse. I believe it’s his wife is very rude will only take the first heard side of the story. The residence who season or stay at the park all year around are mostly drunks who are just plain rude to the visitors. Specifically had an altercation and nobody returned our phone call to see if we could get this resolved. Banning people for being under 5 mph is ridiculous and they didn’t even look into it they just straight banned the campers that were with us (had to slightly accelerate to get around a bend on property) and once again a drunk resident caused a whole scene for no reason
Ed is running this place to the ground. His drunk G/F has no business trying to manage anything, she is very unprofessional. Good luck, I look forward to reading about your experiences.
Just got a seasonal spot this past Oct and excited for the season coming up. Grew up here as a child, and after a decades long absence, I am stocked to be back!
Been coming here many years now. Always enjoyed it here. If you like looking at the night sky at night you'll get a good view by the lakes.
Plus with the Air National Guard stationed nearby you get a mini air show almost daily
