It was nice but the Clampets were parked next to us and they partied most of the night.
First time visit, and was very pleased. Caught a few small stocked bass fish, and I ran into a ranger who said there are trout in the lake as well. If your fishing for bass, use a small worm 4-5". I would definitely come back to fish this lake
Good parking areas, clean camp sites. The trails and lake were beautiful. However, the road is very bumpy, and has some really bad washboards.
Great campground, lots of space, lake front camp spots have access points for kayaks and fishing boats. Bathrooms could be stocked a little better but they are pretty clean. Good dock for fishing, great walking/bike path around the lake. This is noted bear country so be prepared,
